Every now and then, DWA engage our community to create projects that serves some social purpose. This time, we collaborate with the Alliance for Children Development Rights to look into child poverty problems in Hong Kong. We focus on 3 adorable brave kids who live in subdivided flats with harsh living conditions. Using VR technology, we recreate a submersive virtual tour of their homes to raise public awareness.
The project carried out in exhibition format, with lawmakers, students, and community members wearing VR goggles to experience this virtual journey. This project was well received by the public and was then later incorporated into part of the Hong Kong Film Awards community care campaign.
